The Biggest Question of All
You’ve read every book.
You’ve followed every guru.
You’ve taken every class.
So why aren’t you seeing results?
The hardest part of achieving a goal isn’t learning what, when, or how. There are books, online courses, live classes, podcasts, worksheets, and YouTube videos to teach us just about anything.
You can watch all the Top Chef episodes you want, but that will not make you a chef. You can read all the travel guides you want, but that will not make you a world traveler. You can study all the classic authors, but that will not make you a writer.
Along the same lines, you can study how to build wealth, but that will not make you wealthy. You can pay for a health club membership, but that will not make you healthy.
Watching, reading, studying, and paying will give you information and resources, but until you put these thoughts into action, you will not reach your goals.
When someone asks, ”What are you doing to become a writer?” If your answer isn’t ”writing”, then you’re not getting anywhere. If someone asks, ”What are you doing to become a YouTube star?” If your answer isn’t “making and posting videos”, then you’re not getting anywhere. And when you ask yourself, ”When will I have money to retire?” If you aren’t paying off debt and putting money in savings or investments, then you’re not getting anywhere.
The big question isn’t ”What are you LEARNING about your goal”, it’s ”What are you DOING about your goal”.
So what are you doing about your goals?
