We seek transcendence.
We seek nirvana.
We seek evolution.
We seek enlightenment.
We seek heaven.
What we really seek is right here, in the ordinary and everyday. To find Heaven is to accept that it is here, in everything. It is in every person, no matter how normal and every object, no matter how mundane.
We will find the Heaven we seek when we realize and accept that we have already found it. We are surrounded by it. There is no seeking.
God created humans in his likeness. God created the heavens and earth and seas and creatures. All are of God and all are God… as soon as we accept that they are. When God created all these things, he declared them “good”. And so they are.
The key to finding heaven is here, in the words of William Blake:
To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour
You have already:
transcended,
reached Nirvana,
evolved,
been enlightened,
and found heaven.
When you are open to embracing it.
